Send An EmailAACSR Conductor is also called All Aluminum Alloy Conductors Steel Reinforced a concentrically stranded conductor composed of one or more layers of Aluminium-Magnesium-Silicon alloy wire stranded over a high-strength zinc coated (galvanized) steel core. The steel core provides support and mechanical strength for the conductor, while the outer strand of aluminum alloy carries the current. Therefore, AACSR has high tensile strength and good conductivity. It also has good corrosion resistance, light weight, and a long service life.
Applications :
AACSR Conductor is widely used in power transmission lines with various voltage levels. It can be used as large span conductor,heavy ice wire or overhead communications wire,ground wire. It is particularly suitable for applications requiring extremely high tensile strength.
Constructions :
concentrically stranded conductor composed of one or more layers of 6201 -T81 aluminum alloy wire stranded with a high-strength coated steel core. The steel core is located in the center. The core may be single wire or stranded depending on the size.
