All galvanized steel wire strand is manufactured with high tensile wires. The wires are twisted helically to form the strand. The standard wires for wire strands and ropes are made of galvanized steel. It has high mechanical strength, and its galvanized design also gives it maximum corrosion resistance.
Applications :
Galvanized steel wire strand is commonly used for overhead ground/shield wire, guys and messengers, and for steel core in ACSR conductors. In addition to power systems, it is also used in tension applications such as construction, fencing, and packaging industries. Support systems also have applications such as pull poles, towers, and other electrical structures.
