Send An EmailACSR is a type of bare overhead conductor used for power transmission and distribution. Aluminium Conductor Steel Reinforced is formed by several wires of aluminium and galvanized steel, stranded in concentric layers. In addition, ACSR also has the advantages of high strength, high conductivity, and low cost.
Applications :
Aluminium Conductor Steel Reinforced is widely used in power transmission lines with various voltage levels, High strength, suitable for long spans and harsh geographical conditions, and also used in power lines across great Rivers, plain,highland etc. The cables have excellent advantages of high strength, large current carrying capacity and good catenary property as well as wear-resistance, anti-crush and corrosion-proof with simple structure, convenient and low cost installation and maintenance, large transmission capacity.
Constructions :
Aluminum alloy 1350-H-19 wires, concentrically stranded about a steel core. Core wire for ACSR is available with class A, B, or C galvanizing; "aluminized" aluminum coated (AZ); or aluminum-clad (AW) - please see our ACSR/AW spec for more information. Additional corrosion protection is available through the application of grease to the corer or infusion of the complete cable with grease.
