Its tensile strength and conductivity are higher than those of pure aluminum. It has high tension, thereby reducing sag and span distance, enabling longer power transmission distances and higher efficiency.
Applications :
Aluminum Alloy Conductor Steel Reinforced is used as bare overhead transmission cable and as primary and secondary distribution cable. They can also be used in various transmission towers and distribution structures. Aluminum Alloy Conductor Steel Reinforced offers optimal strength for line design. Variable steel core stranding enables desired strength to be achieved without sacrificing Ampacity.
