Quick Details :

AAC Cable is also known as stranded all aluminium conductor. It is manufactured from electrolytically refined aluminium, with a minimum purity of 99.7%. Therefore, it has good corrosion resistance, high conductivity, light weight, simple structure, easy processing and installation, low cost, and long service life. However, AAC conductors have low tensile strength and are not suitable for transmission and distribution lines with long spans.

Applications :

AAC all aluminum conductors are suitable for overhead distribution lines with short spans, low tensile strength, and high conductivity requirements, such as distribution lines in urban areas. The conductor surface has no insulation layer, making it suitable for overhead lines that do not require insulation. AAC Cable is applicable for aerial over head distribution lines that require high strength, corrosion resistance and harder surface than pure aluminum. This conductor has excellent corrosion resistance and is suitable for use in coastal areas and polluted environments. It is also commonly used in low- and medium-voltage overhead lines, transmission towers, substations, etc.

Constructions :

This kind of AAC Cable is composed by one or more layer of hard-drawn pure aluminium AA1350-H19.
