The steel core exhibits excellent mechanical strength and tensile strength, enabling it to support the conductor and accommodate longer spans. The outer aluminum alloy conductor has good electrical conductivity and is responsible for carrying the current. It has excellent corrosion resistance and can withstand various harsh environments. For long overhead lines, they are a reliable and cost-effective solution.
Applications :
AACSR is widely used in overhead power transmission and distribution lines, as well as primary and secondary distribution lines.
The AACSR Aluminium Alloy Conductor Steel Reinforced is suitable for use in all practical transmission towers,and other structures.
Application range from extra high voltage(EHV) transmission lines to sub-service spans at distribution or utilization voltages on private premises as like as ACSR.

The combined light weight and high conductivity of aluminum with strength of the steel cores enable higher tensions ,less sag,and longer spans than any alternative as like as ACSR.
