Send An EmailACSR is a type of bare overhead conductor used in transmission lines. It has high tensile strength and good electrical conductivity. ACSR Steel Reinforced Aluminium Conductor is concentrically stranded conductor with one or more layers of hard drawn 1350-H19 aluminium wire on galvanized steel wire core. It provides the necessary tensile strength for high-voltage transmission lines while also enabling efficient power transmission, especially for long-span transmission lines in complex terrain. At the same time, it offers advantages such as a simple structure, ease of handling and installation, low cost, and high economic efficiency.
Applications :
ACSR Steel Reinforced Aluminium Conductor is widely used for electrical power transmission over long distances, since they are ideal for long overhead lines spans. They are also used as a messenger for supporting overhead electrical cables. The steel core provides high tensile strength, enabling the wire to be used in complex and harsh environments such as rivers and valleys.
Constructions :
ACSR Steel Reinforced Aluminium Conductor are formed by several wires of aluminium and galvanized steel, stranded in concentric layers. The wire or wires which form the core, are made of galvanized steel and the external layer or layers, are of aluminium. Galvanized steel core consist normally of 1, 7 or 19 wires.
