Application :

Our 15kV CU 133% TRXLPE Full Neutral LLDPE cables are the perfect choice for primary underground distribution in conduit systems. They are well-suited for both wet and dry locations, making them ideal for direct burial, underground ducts, and outdoor areas exposed to sunlight. These cables are designed for use at 15,000 volts or lower, with a maximum conductor temperature of 90°C during normal operation.

Note: Our cables are engineered to provide exceptional performance and durability in various applications. They are specifically designed for primary underground distribution, offering reliability and efficiency in different environments.

Construction :

Conductor: Our cables feature high-quality Class A or B Compressed Concentric Stranded Aluminum Alloy or Copper Conductors. To ensure superior performance, stranded conductors are water-blocked using a conductor filling compound.
Conductor Shield: Our cables are equipped with an extruded thermosetting semiconducting shield that is easy to strip from the conductor and securely bonded to the insulation.
Insulation: We use top-notch extruded, unfilled Tree-Retardant Cross-linked Polyethylene (TR-XLPE) insulation, complying with ANSI/ICEA S-94-649 standards, providing an exceptional 133% insulation level.
Insulation Shield: Our cables are also fitted with an extruded thermosetting semiconducting shield that offers controlled adhesion to the insulation. This ensures a perfect balance between electrical integrity and easy stripping.
Metallic Shield: Solid bare copper wires are helically applied with uniform spacing to provide enhanced protection.
Water Block: Our cables are engineered with effective water-blocking agents over the insulation shield and surrounding the neutral wires. This design effectively resists longitudinal water penetration. We test this feature in accordance with the latest edition of ICEA T-34-664, with a minimum requirement of 15 psig for 1 hour.
Jacket: The cables are encased in a durable Linear Low-Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) jacket, featuring a black color with red extruded stripes.

Specifications:

Complies with ASTM B3 Standard Specification for Soft or Annealed Copper Wire.
Meets the requirements of ASTM B8 Concentric-Lay-Stranded Copper Conductors.
Conforms to ICEA S-94-649 Standard for Concentric Neutral Cables Rated 5 - 46kV.
Designed in accordance with AEIC CS-8 Specification for extruded dielectric shielded power cables rated for 5 through 46KV.
