EmailTW/THW wire are a solid or stranded, soft annealed copper conductor insulated with Polyvinylchloride (PVC).
TW wire stands for a thermoplastic, water-resistant wire.
THW wire is also thermoplastic, water-resistant wire, but is heat resistant, denoted by the H in the name.
Applications:
TW/THW wire is most often used in general purpose wiring circuits, for machine tool wiring and the internal wiring of appliances. Common applications include control panels, wiring for refrigeration equipment, air-conditioning equipment, control wiring of machine tools, automatic washers, etc.
