    SANS 1507 SNE Concentric Cable

    SANS 1507 SNE concentric cables are low-voltage service connection cables manufactured in accordance with South African National Standard (SANS) 1507-6.
    SNE Tongxin cables conform to the specifications of SANS 1507, which covers XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) insulated cables with polyethylene sheathing.
    These cables are used for power supplies with Protective Multiple Earthing (PME) systems, where a combined Protective Earth (PE) and Neutral (N) – together known as the PEN – connects the combined neutral-and-earth to real earth at multiple locations to reduce the risk of electric shock in the event of a broken PEN.

    Copper Core Concentric Cable is made of one or two solid central conductors or stranded soft copper, with PVC or XLPE insulation, outer conductor made up of several soft copper wires stranded in a spiral and black outer sheath which can be made of PVC, thermoplastic polyethylene or XLPE.
