Send An Email6.35/11kV-XLPE insulated medium-voltage power cables comprise copper conductors, a semiconductive conductor screen, cross-linked polyethylene insulation, a semiconductive insulation screen, a copper tape metallic screen per core, a PVC inner sheath, steel wire armouring (SWA), and a PVC outer sheath. Suitable for energy networks subject to anticipated mechanical stress. Ideal for underground or duct installation.
Construction:
Conductor: Class 2 stranded copper conductor according to BS EN 60228.
Conductor screen: Semi conductive XLPE (cross linked polyethylene)
Insulation: XLPE, cross linked polyethylene Type GP8 (BS7655)
Insulation screen: Semi conductive XLPE (cross linked polyethylene)
Metalic screen: Induvidual or collective overall copper tape screen (BS6622)
Filler: PET (polyethylene Terephthalate)
Separator: Binding tape
Bedding: PVC (polyvinyl chloride) type MT1 (BS7655)
Armour: SWA, steel wire armoured
Sheath: PVC (polyvinyl chloride) type MT1 (BS7655)
