  • SANS Standard 19-33kV-XLPE Insulated Middle Voltage Power Cable

SANS Standard 19-33kV-XLPE Insulated Middle Voltage Power Cable

SANS Standard 19-33kV XLPE-insulated medium-voltage power cables are manufactured and tested in accordance with South African National Standards.
The 33KV triple core power cable, is just a small part of our medium voltage cable range, it is suitable for power networks, underground, outdoors and installation in cable ducting.
Copper or Aluminium Conductors, single or 3 Core, Armoured or Unarmoured, bedded and served in PVC or non-halogenated material, Voltage Rating 6,6 up to 33kV, made to SANS or other National or International Standards

  • ASTM Standard 15kV-XLPE Insulated MV Middle Voltage Power Cable

ASTM Standard 15kV-XLPE Insulated MV Middle Voltage Power Cable

15kV CU 133% TRXLPE Full Neutral LLDPE Primary used for primary underground distribution in conduit systems suitable for use in wet or dry locations, direct burial, underground duct, and where exposed to sunlight. To be used at 15,000 volts or less and at conductor temperatures not to exceed 90°C for normal operation.

  • IEC/BS Standard 3.8-6.6kV-XLPE Insulated MV Middle Voltage Power Cable

IEC/BS Standard 3.8-6.6kV-XLPE Insulated MV Middle Voltage Power Cable

IEC/BS 3.8/6.6kV XLPE-insulated medium-voltage (MV) power cables are standard cables specifically designed for distribution networks.
These cables are manufactured in accordance with International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) and British Standards (BS) specifications.
3.8/6.6kV is a voltage rating more commonly associated with British standards, notably both BS6622 and BS7835 specifications, where applications can benefit from the mechanical protection provided by their aluminium wire or steel wire armour (depending on single core or three core configurations). Such cables would be well suited to fixed installations and providing power to heavy-duty static equipment as their rigid construction limits the bend radius.

  • ASTM Standard 25kV-XLPE Insulated MV Middle Voltage Power Cable

ASTM Standard 25kV-XLPE Insulated MV Middle Voltage Power Cable

25KV cables are suited for use in wet and dry areas, conduits, ducts, troughs, trays, direct burial when installed with a grounding conductor in close proximity that conforms to NEC section 311.36 and 250.4(A)(5), and where superior electrical properties are desired. These cables are capable of operating continuously at the conductor temperature not in excess of 105°C for normal operation, 140°C for emergency overload, and 250°C for short circuit conditions. Rated at -35°C for cold bend. ST1 (low smoke) Rated for sizes 1/0 and larger. PVC jacket is made with SIM technology and has a coefficient of friction COF of 0.2. Cable can be installed in conduit without the aid of lubrication. Rated for 1000 lbs./FT maximum sidewall pressure.

  • IEC/BS Standard 6.35-11kV-XLPE Insulated MV Middle Voltage Power Cable

IEC/BS Standard 6.35-11kV-XLPE Insulated MV Middle Voltage Power Cable

IEC/BS Standard 6.35-11kV XLPE-insulated medium-voltage power cables are suitable for use in medium-voltage power distribution networks.
Electric cable with copper conductors, semi conductive conductor screen, XLPE insulation, semi conductive insulation screen, copper tape metallic screen of each core, PVC bedding, galvanized steel wires armour (SWA) and PVC outer sheath. For energy networks where mechanical stresses are expected. Suitable for underground installation or in ducts.
